About the Product

Niacin SR is a slow release form of nicotinic acid (vitamin B3) that is used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides that are in the blood. Niacin is a required coenzyme that is found in the body for lipid metabolism, glycogenesis (the conversion of glycogen from sugar) and can even aid in tissue oxygenation.

Directions: Take one tablet with a meal one to two times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

This product is designed to release Niacin over a 6-8 hour period to minimize flushing (Avoiding hot beverages is recommended). A small percentage of people may still experience harmless flushing while taking this product.
